About Jelani
I grew up in a musical home. I began writing songs at the age of 10 and performed them in my church. My Mother was a lead singer in my hometown church choir, and my Father is a Hip-Hop artist. These two influenced me heavily with their musical experience as I grew up. I chose to sharpen my talents and become the best mixture of the two of them. I took poetry classes in college and learned a great deal about precision when expressing through words, as well as structured thought.

I am a singer/songwriter with a few released singles and an EP. I’m a qualified teacher because I’m sharing techniques and approaches that helped me as I learned to authentically express my perspectives. I’m still learning but love helping others along the way! 🫶🏽
