Perfect! I am the mother of Dipanwita's 4 year old student :). And I am amazed at her patience. I am Bengali and my partner a Hindi speaker. Living in Mumbai, my son naturally picked up Hindi and some Marathi. At home we had a no English policy. However he did pick up English at school. Unfortunately, my tiny polyglot child was unable to pick up his mother tongue - Bengali. But that was entirely my fault. I did not have either the patience or the playfulness or even the skill to teach in a way Dipanwita does. I have observed that Dipanwita often takes lead from my son's daily life and that helps him immensely. In fact in less than a month, my son has learnt an entire 'chhora' by heart and playfully recites it within his non-Bengali environment. They laugh and find it cute and in turn learn some Bengali too. Thank you Dipanwita. Immensely grateful!
