About Ivy

I completed my ARCT in Piano Performance at age 13 and Elementary Piano Pedagogy at age 14. I have taught students of all ages and designed personalized lesson plans to help them achieve their learning goals. I am a patient and encouraging teacher that will make you fall in love with the instrument!

About the lesson

My lessons are catered to each individual student based on experience, learning style, availability of practice time and what goals they hope to achieve - whether you’re preparing for a RCM exam or learning just for fun. My lessons are interactive and engaging, with a comprehensive coverage on technique, expression, ear training, rhythm and music theory.

Ivy and I spent multiple years taking courses together in Spanish and learning the language together. She is an excellent mentor and a huge source of support when learning an unfamiliar language. She constantly empowers me to be a better learner and challenge myself when speaking the language, and I am grateful to have had her as a peer during my language learning process.
