About Valentina
I am close to obtaining a Masters in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin. I studied for a year at the Grenoble Institute of Technology, worked as a researcher at Grenoble Informatics Laboratory and wrote and presented a scientific article for IEEE in Shanghai. I love technology and computer engineering and I enjoy making simple concepts very complex.

Learning a new programming language is not easy, on the contrary it is very often frustrating and confusing. The main keys are persistence and having a plan to follow. I can supply both, starting from the basics up to, if desired, very complex concepts (such as concurrent programming). Based on the student's goal, my approach can have two different nuances:
1) The goal is to get by.
In this case, only practice is sufficient. The lessons will consist of an initial crash course with only basic information followed mainly by tutorials and basic programming challenges. The student will be able to write code, but will not have knowledge of what happens behind the scenes and will not be able to answer the questions "Why does it work this way? What would happen if ..?"
2) The objective is to know the language
The theory is dealt with more depth and details (e.g. how memory is used in the program) and the programming challenges proposed will be more complex: the student is now able to do a complete analysis of the program and debug faster.
Obviously it is also possible to mix the two methods, using the second method only for topics of greater interest or complexity.
I will also provide summaries and example code, to encourage individual study.

Perfect! Valentina è un'ottima insegnante, super preparata e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Mi ha dato una mano con un programma un po' intricato, ma non si è lasciata affatto scoraggiare da ciò e ha dato tutta sé stessa per aiutarmi, facendomi raggiungere risultati eccellenti. Le sue spiegazioni sono molto chiare grazie anche alle presentazioni e ai grafici che crea per rendere più facile la comprensione del problema. Valentina è l'insegnante giusta sia per chi vuole iniziare a conoscere il C che per coloro che vogliono approfondire argomenti avanzati e superare prove complesse. Super consigliata!
Perfect! Valentina è un insegnante veramente molto attenta e sempre molto disponibile, precisa nelle spiegazioni. Ho avuto la fortuna di imbattermi nella sua professionalità e ne sono rimasta contentissima. Non è facile trovare nella stessa persona qualità come : preparazione, competenze in diverse materie, abbinate al giusto rigore, caratteristiche che hanno dato modo di apprendere materie nuove anche in maniera semplice.
