About Chauncey

I am thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you. As an experienced tutor in computer programming languages, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching that will inspire confidence in your abilities.

My credentials include majoring in data science at Cornell University, a teaching assistant for two years, and receiving a scholarship for re-writing the curriculum for 4H.

I take great pride in my professionalism and dedication to your success. I am committed to providing you with the highest quality instruction and support, ensuring that you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your programming and college endeavors.

Together, we will explore the fascinating world of computer programming, tackle challenges head-on, and reach new heights of achievement. I look forward to guiding you on this exciting learning journey.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, focusing on building a strong foundation in programming languages while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I tailor my teaching method to each student's learning style, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, to ensure comprehension and retention.

My teaching techniques include hands-on coding exercises, real-world examples, and interactive discussions to reinforce concepts. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.

A typical lesson plan begins with a review of previous concepts before introducing new material. I break down complex topics into manageable parts, providing clear explanations and practical examples. I then guide students through exercises to apply what they've learned, offering feedback and guidance along the way.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my graduation in higher education. If the student is interested in going to college then I can assist with college applications and gauge readiness.

My lessons are suitable for middle and high school students starting off in programming and interested in going to college.
