About Blake
My interest in programming began when I realized how simple instructions written in code could be used to create powerful digital tools. I became fascinated by how programmers design systems that allow computers to perform complex tasks efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue advanced education in computer science and complete a PhD in Computer Science, where I studied algorithms, software development, and system design.
During my 11 years of teaching, I have helped many students learn programming from the beginning as well as improve their existing coding skills. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations and practical exercises so learners can understand programming concepts step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working on small programming projects and exploring new technologies. These activities help me stay connected with modern developments in the technology field. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see students gain confidence and realize they can create useful digital solutions through coding.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand how computers follow instructions to solve problems and perform useful tasks. Many beginners feel programming is difficult because they see complex code before learning the basic ideas behind it. In my lessons we begin with simple concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, and the basic structure of a program. These topics help students understand how programming logic works.
As learners gain confidence, lessons move toward more advanced topics such as functions, algorithms, and structured programming. Students practice writing small programs that perform tasks like calculations, data processing, and automation. I also guide learners through debugging techniques so they can learn how to identify and correct errors in their code.
My goal is to help students build strong logical thinking skills while learning programming. Lessons focus on understanding how each part of a program works so students can develop the ability to design their own solutions. Over time learners become more confident exploring different programming languages and building their own projects.
