About Monica
I have been playing the flute since the age of 8, and never been more thankful for the lessons my instructor gave me. I've had the same private instructor until now, and in the last 4 years, have started playing in community bands, as well as music competitions. I love working with others, and want to expand my teaching to more people, and doing so, extend my flute playing career.

I believe students should be recognized for their individual strengths, and not be forced into a learning curriculum that can soon discourage them. I love working with others and work to provide encouraging, skill building lessons to make you the best player you can be!
I teach from beginner to level 7 (Royal Conservatory) lessons, with hopes of expanding that to the higher levels once I gain my full certification.
