About Nancy
Hey there! My name is Nancy and I'm a classically trained pianist based in Manhattan. I recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA (summa cum laude -- the highest Latin distinction). I've been tutoring for 5 years and it's always such a joy to share my knowledge with future Mozarts and Beethovens. My students describe me as a warm, funny, and passionate tutor.
As someone who started playing at a young age, I understand firsthand how frustrating practicing could be. My goal is to provide a supportive and fun atmosphere for my students so they could cultivate their interpretation and appreciation for the music they play.

- BEGINNER: We're a perfect match if you're new to the piano! I teach students tips and tricks on how to effectively read and understand music
- INTERMEDIATE: I specialize in prepping ABRSM and RCM exam takers (levels 1 - 6). Through polishing difficult passages and ear training exercises, my students are guaranteed to receive excellent scores
- CLASS PLAN: I believe in deliberate practice. After our initial 30-minute consultation, where we'll get to know each other and set goals, I will create a unique custom lesson plan just for you. This ensures every session will not be time and effort wasted!
