About Maddie
I am a very experienced violin teacher that has taught students from age 4 to age 75! I recently finished my Master's degree at Western University, and hold Bachelor's degree and Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University in Violin Performance and Chamber Music, respectively.

As a teacher I have held a studio since 2012, and have studied the
methodologies of Kato Havas, Paul Roland, and Mimi Zweig. I am also an accredited
teacher in the Suzuki method, and have trained with Paule Barselou, and Dr. Katie
Schlaikjer. I have completed violin and theory exams in the RCM method and I am able and willing to prepare students for these accreditations. I endeavour to create and foster a safe space in which a student is supported, nurtured and free to explore their own creativity. I enjoy collaborating with students to allow them to be an active part of their music education.
