My teaching approach revolves around creating a well-rounded and engaging learning experience that combines both technical proficiency and musicality. I emphasize a strong foundation in proper posture, bowing techniques, finger placement, and basic scales. This forms the bedrock upon which students can build their skills. I also incorporate ear training, rhythm exercises, and sight-reading to develop a comprehensive understanding of music.

Each lesson is structured to balance fundamental skill development with enjoyable musical exploration. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up to address posture, finger flexibility, and bow control. We then move on to technical exercises and studies designed to strengthen specific aspects of playing. The core of the lesson involves working on a chosen piece, focusing on interpreting the music, dynamics, phrasing, and expression. The session concludes with a cool-down period where we reflect on progress and set goals for the next lesson.
