About Meyer Deokwu
I am a solo pianist who graduated from Mannes School of Music, a top conservatory in the US. I have taught since my second year at Mannes, and have also tutored music theory to other Mannes students.
Before attending Mannes, I accompanied my high school's choirs as an exclusive pianist. Other accompanying experience includes accompanying soloists for their auditions, competitions, and recitals, and playing in the pit orchestra for the annual musical.

My lessons help students learn not about the notes on the page, but about the musicality of the piece. I tackle any bad habits right away and ensure the student understands how to practice efficiently.
I have many years of accompanying experience as well as solo, and I am able to guide the student through all aspects of classical music.
