About Roberto
As a secondary and post-secondary student, written expression at the university level was a challenge. Finding reliable ways to satisfy the logical, organizational, and formal requirements for academic writing was a gradual process. It required reflection on differing strategies and approaches for a variety of subjects. By strengthening this awareness, I found I could aid others in their own efforts to arrange and produce quality compositions.

Almost five years as an educator have allowed me to encounter students from all contexts and abilities. Working with their strengths and building a repertoire of skills for expression is what drives my classroom. My focus has been large, diverse populations of adults in need of engaging lessons in English composition. This includes publishing guides for essay writing in the APA and MLA formats, and has culminated in the joint publication of a book for classroom use, Elements of English Composition.
