About Stéphane
I'm a 20 year old student at the Cork School of Music, originally from Dublin. I began learning the Bass age 4 and it's been my main focus in life ever since.
I have great orchestral experience, having played in side-by-sides with the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and the Royal Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra.
I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland from 2013-2018, and led the bass section for the last season, and I've participated in multiple EU funded exchanges with the Vienna Youth Orchestra, of which I've led the bass section twice.
I'm also a semi-regular bassist with the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra, having played in multiple productions with them.

I'm offering lessons to students of any level. Lesson length will range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the level of the student.
I believe in creating a very welcoming teaching environment through positive reinforcement and a relaxed atmosphere. While I attempt to appear as professional as possible in this profile, I generally consider myself a relaxed person with a good sense of humour!
