About Edward
Transitioning from corporate roles to tutoring was a gradual shift, prompted by a realization that many students miss the underlying mechanics. My Master of Science in Economics from the University of Chicago Booth informs how I view every aspect of risk and return.
I spent years in industry positions where I learned that conceptual foundations are far more important than memorizing formulas. Currently, I bring 11 years of experience to these interactions, helping 75 students navigate the complexities of portfolio theory.
Most of my work involves breaking down financial statement analysis into logical, manageable components. I find that when we identify the reasoning behind a model, the math naturally follows. I am confident that building this structural intuition provides the most stable path forward.
