Hallo everyone, my name is Maryke, I am 25 years old and I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I completed the 168-hour level 5 online TEFL course through The TEFL Academy. I am passionate about teaching and I love to work with children. I am kind, patient, accommodating, friendly, dedicated and success-driven.

I prefer to tailor my teaching approach to my student’s needs as I believe that EVERY STUDENT HAS differing NEEDS.
But I do like to use the TPR method. TPR means Total Physical Response and it is based on the theory that the memory is enhanced through association with physical movement
TPR helps a student to learn with less stress, in a more fun and engaging manner without the burden of memorization.
I am passionate about teaching and I love to work with children. I am kind, patient, accommodating, friendly, dedicated and success – driven. My lessons are fun, creative and practical and will help you to learn English as it is spoken on a day to day basis
As your teacher I will make sure that you enjoy every class and learn something new each time.
