About Veronica
Hi everybody :)
I'm Veronica and I'm a TESOL qualified teacher. I was born and raised in Italy but I've lived in England for the last two years. I recently obtained my teaching quaification at Nottingham Trent University and I am now teaching part time.
Languages have always been my greatest passion and, I was lucky enough to turn my passion into a job! What else could I desire? I teach both Italian and English and I am learning French and Arabic.
My direct experience with learning English as a Second Language has given me a different insight of the teaching world and has helped me become a teacher who always puts the students' need above everything else. If you are, like me, from southern Europe you might have vastly experienced purely grammar oriented English lessons. You will not have that kind of lessons with me! I do believe that learning a language is all about communication and cultural exchange, and this is what I promote in my lessons.
I am very flexible and willing to adapt my teaching to your goals and needs, and I will plan my lessons in accordance to what your interests and priorities are!
I look forward to helping you become a better and more confident communicator!
