About Lino
I am a dedicated Saxophone tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, and I have successfully taught around 150 students across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I enjoy guiding students through a clear learning path that builds both skill and confidence.
My tutoring approach is based on clear planning and steady guidance. I begin by helping students understand the basics of posture, breathing, tone production, and finger technique. Once these fundamentals are strong, we move gradually towards scales, rhythm training, reading music, and song performance.
Each lesson is structured but flexible, depending on the student’s learning speed and goals. I also explain music theory in a simple way and connect it directly to practical playing. Students receive clear practice instructions so they know exactly how to improve between lessons.
My unique strength is my ability to guide students step by step without confusion. My goal is to help students feel confident, focused, and motivated while learning the saxophone.

My saxophone teaching methodology emphasises adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I recognise that every student has a unique learning style, so I tailor lessons to their pace, interests, and goals using demonstration, auditory exercises, and practical practice.
Flexibility is central to my approach. Lessons are adapted according to progress and motivation, ensuring learning is engaging, productive, and enjoyable. Collaboration encourages students to explore improvisation, participate actively, and share creative ideas, building confidence and skill.
I cultivate a supportive and positive environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth. Lessons cover saxophone technique, musical interpretation, improvisation, performance preparation, and theory to provide a complete learning experience.
Additionally, I teach complementary subjects like sight-reading, ensemble performance, ear training, and music theory. My aim is to nurture well-rounded, confident, and expressive musicians.
