About Babalwa

I am a young creative with a passion for helping others develop empathy through the exchange of personal narratives. I am a creative writer, poet, and a seamstress. I have been writing and performing poetry on different stages across the United States for over five years. I obtained my Liberal Arts Bachelor’s degrees from Sarah Lawrence College. I love mindfulness and wellness. I have been practicing Yoga since I was 13 years old. More than anything, I find joy in providing tools and knowledge to students in order for them to pave and explore their creativity.

About the lesson

My lessons are influenced by working teaching tools that I have gained from educational courses and workshops. I have managed to infuse different styles learned from professors and my own research to create lessons that help students learn find and use their creative voices.
