About Miles
I earned my M.A. in French from Emory University and have six years of tutoring experience in Atlanta. My two-year teaching residency in Paris refined my immersive teaching methods. I hold DELF B2 and DALF C1 certifications and am available weekday evenings and weekend sessions. I conduct fully immersive French lessons—speaking exclusively in French and incorporating authentic resources (podcasts, films, contemporary literature) to fortify reading and listening proficiency. We engage in advanced conversation—analyzing Francophone literature, current affairs, and cultural traditions—while honing French writing (academic essays, creative narratives) and expanding vocabulary through thematic modules (cuisine, cinema, history). DELF and DALF exam preparation is woven throughout—mock oral interviews, tailored writing workshops, and rigorous grammar labs.
