About Lucy
I am a current 8th-grade English teacher with experience working with 9th/10th grades as well. I have worked in ESOL with adults. I have a degree in English Literature with minors in Religious Studies and Political Science. My strong academic background coupled with a significant love for learning makes me an excellent choice for helping students out with their needs!

I love to work with students to help them be the leaders behind their own learning. The beauty of tutoring is that we can design programs fitting individual student needs. In my current classroom role, I work a lot with students with varying learning differences from dyslexia to ADHD. I love working with students that are wanting to learn, even if it's difficult!
Looking at writing, I love to break down what we want to accomplish with your writing and build a strong outline from there. I am all about teaching my students tips and tricks to make the process of writing as painless as possible.
