About Kelsey
Over the years I have performed and taught at plenty of venues all over the United States. I have been booked by companies such as Red Bull, TedTalk, We Are Hip Hop, and the internationally known Breaking Convention. I also have a background of teaching and producing choreography for teams, schools, individuals, and my own casts in showcases, workshops, and more. In addition to performing, I am a battle dancer where I compete in dance events with the style of Krump and I teach others how to be effective battle dancers and how they can make a professional career in being a freestyle dancer.
Recently, I was able to tie all of my experience together by graduating from Columbia College getting my degree in Dance Education and I cannot wait to teach students the art of dance and how it helps others in and out of school.
I believe that creativity, hard work, having fun, and vulnerability are the key to success within dance and I love to help others see their own potential, push their limits, and make their own discoveries to strive to be better.

In my lessons, I make sure that students leave with the knowledge of being able to teach not only themselves, but others too. My program starts with a consultation, building upon what the students' expectations are, and getting them to where they would like to be in a realistic time frame that suits them. As an educator and a performer, I am able to give my students the best of both worlds whether they would like to be in the industry, just be an all-round great dancer, or an educator. I am your one stop shop to greatness. I also include lessons for dancers who would like to be a part of the street dance scene where they can battle others and build their career upon these skills, so they can continue to build variety.
