About Mairead
I am from Ireland (a native English speaker), but moved to Italy last year to work as an EFL teacher. I love running, going to the gym, travelling, meeting friends for food/coffee, and learning new languages. I speak English, Irish, some Spanish, and some Italian.
I have completed 180 hours of EFL training, along with a specialist course for teaching students with disabilities including blindness, deafness, and autism.
I find teaching so, so rewarding, and I am excited to meet all of you guys!

-Communicative method to encourage the student to speak as much as possible using the new grammar/vocabulary we learn throughout the lesson
-Tasks to use the new language in everyday life e.g. roleplay in a supermarket/at the airport
-Currently working as an ESL teacher in a school based on a communicative method, encouraging correction of grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
-Lessons from complete beginner to advanced/near-native level.
-IELTS preparation lessons can be provided.
