About Toby
I am a current final year student with ambitions to become a teacher. I have a passion for philosophy and religious studies and have much experience in giving lectures and lessons at my university.
I aim to create in all my students the capacity to learn independently, to develop skills in understanding complex ideas and text which will be ultimately extremely valuable in later life.

Tutoring will involve:
increased education on subject matter - providing enhanced learning on course contents with more depth and understanding than textbook.
Essay writing skills - teaching how to structure an essay answer and certain skills and tips needed for high grades. Also included teaching in skills in logic and argumentation.
Memory tasking and tests - I can provide tasks and tests to improve and build on the students' knowledge and memory of subjects.
Building independent revision techniques - teaching the student to cultivate skills in independent revision and academic sustainment. My aim for all students is to make them as efficient in learning on their own as in a lesson.
Marking - will provide marking on students' practice questions to help build assessment skills.
