About Amelia
My name is Amelia, and as someone who has struggled with learning the English language as a young girl, I understand how important it is to be able to be assisted through these struggles. I want to help children to be able to confidently write creative pieces for school, as creativity in children is superficial for their development in the early stages of life, with writing being able to expand their horizons and brightest dreams. I am passionate in English Literature, with reading pieces by Dosteyevsky, Mary Shelley, Shakespeare, Jane Eyre, Oscar Wilde ect. Furthermore, my passion thrives withing writing, wether its fiction or non-fiction, poetry or essays. With this, I believe I can confidently guide students to achieve top grades.

As a tutor, I wish to be able to guide your children through difficult tasks they deal with at school. I hope to approach this with patience and understanding, helping children that do not have English as their first language. I aim to do this by introducing them to ambiguous vocabulary ( that is appropriate for their level) to broaden their imaginations in order for them to produce higher level writing. With this, I can also guide children with any spelling problems they may have, helping them to understand Phonics and pronounciations- which effectively improves spelling in younger children.
I am also able to help students in higher school (year 7-year 10), with English Literature. As someone who has studied; Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Othello, Frankenstein, Power&Conflict(poetry), A Christmas Carol and An Inspector Calls. I can provide students with helpful exam tips aswell as usefull Contextual Studies that they may need in their exams.
