About Oksana
I come from an environment in which neither of my parents speak English as a first language. I spent a lot of time moving around and quickly fell behind in school. However I had a teacher who gave me their time and helped me not only catch up but exceed my classmates. I am super passionate in this regard.
At medical school, I have also written a paper based on education and the methods available, as in my career I will have to teach future doctors.
I am a patient and optimistic individual and I believe everyone can succeed when you find out what works for them

I am a visual learner so I can empathise with many students who have struggled throughout school as it is rarely adapted to their needs. I like to sit down with students and create a plan that is adapted to them so that they have an environment for them to learn.
I want to students to feel comfortable and non-judged. I have often found that students who are behind is due to being too shy to clarify definitions and asking for a teacher to explain in a different manner.
I am fast-paced but always make sure my students are following along.
