I am a current PGCE Social Science student teacher at Queen’s University. I am motivated to support young people in their learning and it is my aim as a nearly qualified teacher to treat young people holistically in relation to their education.

I’m passionate about helping students to fully grasp what they’re learning rather than rote learning. Being able to understand the content will not only help them with assessment but also in the long run they will be able to apply their knowledge to everyday scenarios. I feel it’s important to acknowledge a student as a whole person in relation to their learning and it is essential to create a learning environment that is suitable for all young people.
