About Gates
My name is Gates Romero, I was born in Wichita, Kansas in 2003 before moving to a small town in Texas. As I went to school, class and grades were nothing more than the cost of seeing my friends every weekday, I had no interest in the subjects beyond just passing. It wasn't until high school that I decided what I wanted to do with my life was build intricate machines, much to my disappointment it meant I had to study. This was an interesting moment because in it I learned just how cool Math and Science was. Today we can move faster than the speed of sound and travel outside the planet's atmosphere all thanks to those numbers and fractions on my piece of paper. That was motivation enough to tutor myself in the areas that my teachers may have left me confused, and eventually help tutor other students who struggled in the same area. I graduated high school with an A average in the areas of Math and Science, an achievement I intend to repeat in College.

When I was a student in high school, and even the last few years in college, I had teachers who understood and studied their subjects thoroughly; however, when it came time to teach and communicate I found myself teaching myself. I understand that these topics are not easy, and sometimes it's a struggle enough to stay focused. I've been there, so as I help with your specific subject I'll be patient and explain the process and premise in a way that best helps you understand. I also realize aside from passing a class or test, you may not see any reason or need for this information, as I explain a problem I will relate it to its application in the real world, so as to help these equations seem less like an assortment of nonsense symbols and more like a planned process to achieving a specific goal. I will specify I am currently in University so I am able to help with basic college-level Mathematics and Chemistry, however, beyond this, I myself am a student.
