About Matthew
I am a student at UCLA in the biology B.S. program. My skills however lie within mathematics as a whole. Currently my studies best cater towards the high school and college prep materials. I received passing grades for my AP Physics 1 exam. My grades in AP Calculus, AP Physics 1, and Precalculus were all A's. The high school environment challenged me at first, this challenge however taught me exactly what I need to do to approach all facets of math in order to gain anything from any class. I live in Los Angeles and currently am not enrolled in class. Meaning my schedule is a bit more flexible until the summertime. Our sessions will be professional, as if I were a teacher myself. However, I still will provide a comfortable environment where the stakes are low, and your potential to learn is high.

A typical lesson with me can vary! It can be direct homework help, where for an hour I can give you the framework to help dissect one problem, so that you can finish the rest! Or I can provide you specific problems that can cater towards a skill you must learn for future lessons, and or future classwork. I teach high school and college prep exclusively. Keeping lessons specific in order to not overload the student. Again I try to make it so that anyone can approach any kind of math. Anyone can do math, for any subject, and I love to make that philosophy come true for any student that would love to be tutored by me.
