About Catherine
My experience as a tutor spans throughout most of my high school career. As an upperclassman, I assisted freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in their classes; my experience also extends to working with students with learning disabilities. Outside of high school, I have also engaged with younger students as an elementary school teaching assistant via a non-paid internship. I will be of most assistance to students needing additional support in humanities-based subjects, but am open to assisting with STEM-based learning as well.

With two years of prior tutoring experience in high school, I teach with a hands-on approach. During a typical tutoring session, I like to work through problems/assignments with the student. I do not simply provide my students with the answer, but ensure that they truly understand the work they are doing as well. I am comfortable assisting elementary, middle, and high school students. I have taken a number of AP classes, and thus am comfortable assisting with college-level coursework.
