About Madeline
Hi, it's Maddie! I’m passionate about helping students realize that learning doesn’t have to be stressful or boring. My approach is friendly, encouraging, and tailored to you. As a student, I realize that no two students learn in exactly the same way. I focus on building real understanding, not just memorizing answers, so you can feel confident tackling new challenges on your own.
I’m organized, reliable, and take my role seriously, but I also believe that a relaxed and positive atmosphere makes all the difference. You can expect lessons that are structured, engaging, and genuinely supportive. My goal is for you to leave each lesson not only with better skills, but with more confidence in yourself and your ability to succeed.

My teaching method includes focusing on you as the student. We will practice active learning rather than lecturing, namely by asking you what you know, and also helping you get to the answer. I will provide immediate, constructive feedback with NO judgment. I understand what being a student is like, and I will never come into a lesson with expectations or goals other than making you feel comfortable with the material. I will make lesson plans specific to you and what works for your learning style in order to have the most effective learning.
As I am currently a student, I am open to having you pick my brain for just about anything. I focus in Health and Wellness studies, but I have a strong passion and knowledge for neuroscience, English, biology, and theology.
