About Daisy
I'm Daisy and I am a university student studying Spanish and Linguistics! I am really enthusiastic about my subjects and love learning random words in Spanish and cool facts about humans and language! I'm really dedicated to being someone that people can come to for help; I want to see others succeed and feel as though I have contributed positively! In my college at University, I am the Welfare Officer and responsible for providing support for the student body's overall wellbeing and being a point of contact for those who need it. I also have a basic DBS check (you are more than welcome to contact me for further details).

I want my students to feel supported and encouraged; my feedback and teaching style will always include both what has been successful as well as parts which could be improved. I work to build confidence in my students and help them enjoy their learning experience because that is a really important part of learning! My lessons last an hour, but students are more than welcome to book for longer, as long as there is space:) I have led revision and tutoring sessions for A-level English language students, helping them to develop their essay writing skills and understand how theoretical frameworks are relevant to different texts. For English, I can teach this as a foreign language so I am happy to tutor for young children (5+), but I am mainly looking to support GCSE and A-level English Language students.
