About Maya

My name is Maya and I love to learn more importantly, I love to teach. My passion is educating and helping anyone regardless of age better themselves in education. I have been a teacher for six years working within the elementary education field. I pride myself on meeting my students' needs wherever they are, whether they struggle with reading or are learning a new subject matter for the first time. I aim to bring out the best in them. If you are looking for someone to bring out the best in you and help you reach your learning goals I can be that person you need.

About the lesson

I focus on your needs and meet you where you need me to. My goal is to understand your level of knowledge and use different teaching methods to help you better understand any subject matter. My lessons include working on your mental and emotional well-being. Learning and obtaining new knowledge should not be a struggle. I aim to ensure you don't struggle and can come out of our sessions with a brighter outlook on learning itself.
