About Isla
I am currently studying A Levels and hope to go on to university to study Law and become a barrister. Outside of academics, I am passionate about music, holding Grade 7 Singing and Grade 6 Drums, and I also enjoy fashion, including sewing and making my own clothes. I wanted to become a tutor because I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and build confidence in their abilities. Having recently experienced the challenges of GCSEs myself, I understand the pressures students face and am keen to support them in reaching their full potential.

My teaching style focuses on making learning enjoyable, engaging, and accessible. I believe students learn best when they genuinely enjoy a subject, so I aim to create lessons that spark curiosity and make challenging topics feel interesting rather than overwhelming. I encourage students to ask as many questions as they need and strive to create a supportive, comfortable environment where they feel confident contributing and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students achieve strong results, but also to develop a deeper understanding of the subject and a lasting confidence in their own abilities.
I have had work experience teaching in schools as well as being a Brownie leader for 3 years. I received top grades at GCSE - all 8s and 9s.
