About Christina
Recent college grad with a B.S in Psychology and Sociology, and I have many years of ASL experience tutoring people in ASL. I was a teacher's aide throughout high school for my ASL teacher who was Deaf. This taught me a lot about the language and Deaf culture. I was in charge of tutoring and assisting students with ASL vocabulary, grammar, and cultural exposure and study.

My teaching method is laid back and consistent, and it's based on a functional/communicative approach in the beginning stages (basic important communicative phrases, common sayings, etc. What most important to know initially to create the basis for understanding the language) and then structural in the later stages (breaking the language down to it's most basic parts). My lessons are very rarely ever lecture but rather intensive vocabulary review and conversation practice.
