About Joshua
I am currently an English undergraduate entering my final year of studies at the University of Cambridge. I believe that, specifically in English, 1 on 1 teaching is crucial to developing the skills necessary to effective, critically sophisticated m reading and, in a wider sense, academic discussion. Having smaller classes and, thus, having an opportunity to verbalise and express thoughts played a key role for me in developing the confidence to apply for Cambridge, and I hope this is something I can help develop in others.

Lessons will consist mostly of extended periods of close reading practice with an aim to developing a forensic and sophisticated analytical approach to both A Level set texts and unseen exercises. Such skills will place the student in a good position to sit the English literature entrance exam for Oxford and Cambridge.
