About Camille
Hi, I'm Camille!
I'm studying Medicine at University. Medicine is the perfect blend of science and people. To me, it is an art, as well as a science. I love learning about the human body and the way we work, then applying it and getting to talk to interesting people!
My journey to medicine wasn't easy (it rarely is!) - I had my personal statement, interviews and science a levels sorted - but my maths grade was at a B (A is needed). I worked extremely hard to improve at my maths, so I know what it's like to need some extra help with a subject that is important for you. I'm always willing to talk about applying to medicine to anyone that is looking to do the same.

I believe in a friendly approach to teaching. Angry, scary teachers I've had in the past have not helped me learn in the same way that kind, encouraging ones have. I want us to be able to work together to achieve your goals, not scare you into doing it yourself.
I will ask my students to let me know which topics, questions and past papers they are struggling with. I don't want to waste any time going through topics they are already going to ace! We will work through the topics and questions together, aiming to understand them in an applied way and exam-style. I find this important to maintaining interest in a subject, and being able to understand a topic rather than just regurgitate an answer will be important if continuing at a level.
I want my students to feel encouraged, supported and leave feeling confident!
