About Nathan
I’ve helped hundreds of students with their labs, homework, exam practice, and even proficiency demos. I was a TA for CS 161 in Python, and I’ve led lab lectures during my entire master's degree. My goal is to provide a simple and easy to follow lesson plan that helps you become a pro in basic concepts in data structures and programming topics.

Understanding is more important than memorizing. Once you spend the time to understand the concepts of pointers, arrays, memory, classes, functions, and OOP, everything becomes straight forward. I teach you the very basics and show you how everything is built on top of them. There are no bad questions. I incorporate drawings, thinking outside the box, visual diagrams, and code examples. Once a pointer is understood, linear linked lists, doubly linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search trees, and even B-trees become doable.
