About Anissa
I started dancing when I was 12 years old and initially didn't see myself as a lifelong dancer. After taking a break from dance my first semester in college though, I realized that I couldn't stop dancing. My sophomore year started with me becoming a dance major, which set me on the path I am on today. Since then I have taught at multiple local studios, performed in shows with a local dance company and artist, and choreographed countless pieces on adults and children for various stages. Dance is truly my passion.

My lesson plans are tailored to each student's needs and vary based on their skill level+ goals. I place great importance on understanding the movement. There is no lower age restriction, however students tend to get more out of my lessons when they are primarily focused on learning as opposed to a competition mindset.
