About Lacy
I am an enthusiastic college student, who always strives to do my best! Aside from having danced the majority of my life, I have performed in countless ballets, The Nutcracker being my favorite. My past roles in The Nutcracker include but are not limited to Clara, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, the Arabian Princess, Soldier Doll, Ballerina Doll, Snow Corps and Flower Corps. My goal is to instill the confidence and self worth in younger kids that it takes to truly love dancing. I like to focus on strengthening technique, but am also an avid user of improv and freedom within dance, in order to keep the focus on fun and enjoyment.

I specialize in classical, balanchine style ballet, and am also willing to choreograph pieces, and teach contemporary. I strive to create different lesson plans and difficulty levels depending on the dancer's ability and age. A typical class would consist of proper warm-up and stretching to avoid injury, leading into a barre, and center work, if provided space allows. I want to give every kid the best lesson possible, in a way that is most enjoyable and understandable for them. I am always willing to adapt my lessons based on the dancer and resources, and want to make sure everyone feels as if they are getting the best training. I am open to all levels and experience of dancers, but no older than 13. Geared towards remote classes on a platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and a very flexible schedule.
