About Zayan
I’m a vocal coach and songwriter with a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting and more than 8 years of teaching experience. My focus is on modern performance and recording, introducing students to DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones. I help singers develop skills for vocal looping, live electronic performance, and complex layered arrangements. R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian are my favorite genres to teach. Lessons emphasize tone, phrasing, harmonies, and expressive lyric interpretation. I teach both hobbyists who sing for joy and aspiring recording artists chasing their next track. Each session is a balance of creativity, technique, and studio innovation. Together, we turn your voice into a tool for storytelling and artistic exploration.

I teach vocal technique alongside hands-on studio skills to help singers succeed in recordings. Every lesson focuses on building confidence and a professional sound. Studio etiquette and workflow are emphasized throughout. Vocal layering, harmonies, phrasing, and expressive lyric interpretation are central to lessons. Tone shaping, pitch control, and dynamic control are practiced consistently. I support The Music Major and The Suzuki Student in developing a polished studio sound. Lessons include DAW exercises and preparing vocals for multi-layered arrangements. Students gain skills for live electronic performance and vocal looping. Creativity is encouraged alongside technical development. Editing, critical listening, and refining recordings are taught. Lessons are suitable for hobbyists and aspiring recording artists alike. Students develop consistent practice routines to strengthen voice and skill. Genres like R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian are explored. I focus on helping singers maintain individuality while sounding professional. Each session builds technical skill, artistic expression, and confidence.
