About Tshepang
My name is Tshepang, and although Sotho is my home language, I grew up speaking Afrikaans daily with my neighbors, which helped me become fluent and confident in it. Over the years, I received awards in both primary and high school for my achievements in Afrikaans, and today, communicating with Afrikaans-speaking clients in the workplace is effortless. I am passionate about teaching because I understand how challenging Afrikaans can feel for learners who don’t speak it at home, and I want to make it easier, more enjoyable, and less intimidating. My methodology focuses on different topics in the language; grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing; taught step by step with practical examples and past papers. I teach exclusively in Afrikaans, creating an immersive environment where learners gain confidence through patient guidance and constructive feedback. My lessons are aimed at learners from Grade 4 to Grade 12, whether they need support with basics or preparation for exams.
