About Phoebe

I am an incredibly friendly, hardworking and passionate person. I enjoy helping others to achieve their goals and strive for high grades in their exams and coursework.
Within my tutoring sessions, I encourage my students to develop their own ideas through discussion and sources that I provide. I enjoy engaging with my students and strive to ensure that my tutoring sessions are brought to life through stimulating activities. Furthermore, I enjoy helping them to analyse not only the works of others but also their own work in a more critical way, as I feel that this enables a better understanding of how to structure essays and exam answers to a higher standard. Similarly, I aim to help students develop confidence in their own writing.
With many students approaching their GCSE, AS-Level and A-Level examinations, I place particular importance on revision and helping students to develop strategic revision plans, as well as helping them to understand the best methods of revision. I also place importance on how to structure essays correctly and how to develop their critical analysis.
Similarly, with coursework deadlines approaching for many students, I am incredibly happy to focus on improving essays.
Depending on the student and parents requests, I am happy to leave homework with the student and I am also open to marking students essays ahead of our sessions.
Alongisde studying for my Batchelor of Arts Degree in History, I tutored many students in English Literature, English Language and History. I enjoyed tutoring immensely, and was incredibly happy to find out that all of my students had been successful within their exams.
