About Mamohale
I have a Ph.D. from the University of Cape Town. I was a chemistry teaching assistant (tutor / laboratory demonstrator) throughout my graduate school years at UCT from 2008 to 2013. I've done a little bit of private tutoring as well: general chemistry for 1st year students and inorganic and physical chemistry for senior students.

My teaching methods are pretty standard. I follow the course outline that was initially handed out to students where they are enrolled because I don't want to be completely off scope. I hand out teaching materials which I discuss with my students. I hand out classwork, tutorial questions which I expect to be completed before my next meeting with my students so we can go through the tutorial questions together on our next meeting. I give them tests after every topic. I am also available to assist whenever they're preparing for tests and exams for where they are formally enrolled.
I do a little bit of mentoring as well for when they are given an option to choose between courses. This I do based on their strengths and the prerequisites for the courses. I do a little bit of mentoring for final year students as well to prepare them to go out in the field of work, and /or to prepare to enrol for a post graduate degree.
