About Alba
I am a Fashion Designer. I graduated in 2018 and specialized in knitting design and programming with Shima Seiki. In 2019 I won the Feel The Yarn contest in Florence, which allowed me to work in the spinning company Biella Yarn of the Südwolle Group, as well as founding my own company project that will see the light soon. I currently work at KnitwearLab (Netherlands) as a Junior Designer with M1plus software and STOLL machines. In May 2021 I will finish an MA in 3D Fashion Design with CLO, Cinema4D and 3Ds Max, and in September I will graduate a double MBA in Fashion and Luxury Management.
I have been teaching since 2018. Although during the 4 years of university I also gave reinforcement sessions to my classmates or friends with the subjects / projects of the degree. I have taught Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, especially for fashion illustration, flat drawings and technical sheets. Also for layout design of projects and TFG. And currently I am more focused on classes more related to the creative part, concept development, collections and helping to define the creative identity as a designer of my students.

Currently all my sessions are online only. We work with video-calling platforms that allow me to have visual contact with the students, as well as share different screens depending on what we are working on in each class. We make use of a shared Excel template in which the dates of the sessions are set, as well as a record of what is planned to be seen in each one. In this document it is also noted what has not been given time to see and the student can also comment on what she needs to reinforce or the difficulties she has encountered working individually between classes. Mainly, depending on the topic to be seen during the class, it begins by seeing if there are doubts or difficulties to be solved from previous classes. Then I do introductory presentations to reinforce my explanations, which last between 15 and 30 minutes. And finally, we do exercises together in relation to the explanation, it is put into practice with their class work or we review upcoming deliveries. There is also a certain practical component, in which I ask them to prepare certain materials for the session and we work on different techniques to put into practice what we see in the classes. These sessions are usually longer, since they first require an introduction by the student about the work in question. I like to get very involved with the people I help, so I always try to be available for any problems that arise between classes, by mail or phone, and I share with them a lot of theoretical and graphic material of my own to ease their learning .

Details
The price of the sessions include my total and max. availability out of the class schedule, as well as all the material of my own I give and my education level.
Cancelling classes won't have any added cost, but I'd prefer them to be cancelled with 30 minutes notice minimum.
