As an author with a published piece in the Spirals anthology series, I bring a creative and structured approach to tutoring writing and editing for high school-aged beginner writers. My lessons typically run for 45 minutes to an hour and focus on building core writing skills such as idea development, grammar, structure, voice, and editing techniques. I use a blend of brainstorming exercises, peer review, guided writing prompts, and one-on-one feedback to help students refine their work and grow in confidence. My teaching methodology encourages creativity while reinforcing the fundamentals of clear, effective communication.
