About Eleanor
I'm passionate about music and music history - especially that of the flute! I passed the DipABRSM in flute performance in 2013 and have since been performing as a soloist and with small ensembles. I love to teach and share my advanced knowledge of flute technique and love of music. I am fully DBS and CRB checked.

I've taught flute lessons to children and adults for several years, and have entered students with success into ABRSM graded music exams. I especially enjoy teaching flautists who want to play for pleasure.
I provide tuition to flautists of all ages and abilities (beginner to advanced). I believe in a holistic approach and aim to integrate various aspects of musical training (theory, history, alongside practice) into my lessons for rounder musical development. My approach is student centred and aims to include training in a variety of musical styles and periods. I am flexible with regards to lesson frequency and length.
I also really want the flute and music more generally to be accessible and so if my lesson costs or anything else is restrictive, please get in touch with more details and hopefully we can work something out!
