About Florent
Born in Marseille, I was drawn from an early age to theological and existential questions, I have spent most of my life searching for a form of Western spirituality that has largely been forgotten today.
It was through this quest that I discovered the Tarot of Marseille in 2013, which immediately captivated me. Encountering this work both enigmatic and fascinating, profoundly transformed my life, both professionally and personally.
After nearly ten years devoted to practicing and studying the meanings, symbols, and myths that make up the Tarot of Marseille, I chose in 2021 to become a professional tarot reader (Le Bateleur Tarology, 2021–2023).
Over time, the Tarot of Marseille became an essential tool in my spiritual journey. Acting as a compass, it allows my soul to experience the Divine and be transformed by its grace.
But my passion did not stop there. In 2023, it led me to create Tarotgraphe, a company dedicated to restoring and producing historical Tarot of Marseille decks using the traditional craftsmanship methods of 17th and 18th century Provençal master cardmakers.
Alongside my professional path, my deep desire to grasp the profound meaning of the Tarot of Marseille led me to immerse myself in Neoplatonic and Hermetic philosophy, Catholic and Kabbalistic theology, as well as the study of astrology and alchemy.
These studies marked a decisive turning point in my spiritual life, guiding me toward embracing the same understanding of the visible and invisible worlds as that of our ancestors.
Today, I wish to share the fruits of these discoveries with all who feel called to explore them.

Discover the magic of the Tarot of Marseille in its original form through a traditional, spiritual, and engaging approach. This teaching remains faithful to its Neoplatonic, Hermetic, and Christian roots.
Although the Tarot of Marseille first appeared in Italy at the end of the 15th century, it is now often practiced and interpreted according to the later tradition of 19th century freemason occultists, an approach that departs from the original philosophy of its creators and disconnects the tarot from its roots.
I invite you to travel back in time and immerse yourself in the practice of tarot as it was understood in its earliest centuries, through a teaching that is both theoretical and practical.
With me, you won’t simply learn how to interpret cards according to the original Western tradition, you will experience the spiritual power of each arcana, allowing the tarot to become a true compass for your soul, in the spirit of our ancestors.
If the Tarot of Marseille can seem obscure to beginners, it is often because we are unfamiliar with the Neoplatonic, Hermetic, Christian, and Kabbalistic myths and symbols hidden behind each arcana. To benefit from a high-quality learning experience, there is no need to memorize endless lists of meanings—understanding the story, myth, or philosophical/theological concept associated with each arcana is enough to grasp its full depth and complexity.
My courses are structured around two main pillars:
I) INTERPRETATION: MYTHS, CONTEXT, AND SYMBOLS
To truly understand the essence of the Tarot of Marseille, it is essential to approach it not through a modern lens, but through the eyes of a 15th century European. Students will begin by exploring the cultural, philosophical, and religious context of 15th century Italy, then discover the myths, stories, symbols, and teachings associated with each Major Arcana.
II) SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE
The Tarot of Marseille was originally designed not only as a pedagogical tool but also as a means for the soul to experience the Divine, illuminating the path that leads to the source of Life. To fully integrate its teachings, students will engage with the spiritual power of each arcana through meditation exercises, prayers, and mystical experiences.
