About Jamie
Hi! I’m Jamie, a 21-year-old artist living in North Carolina with my husband. I’ve loved painting for as long as I can remember, and today I have the privilege of working full-time with a ministry, where I get to paint and serve in a variety of creative ways.
One thing I love about art is that there’s always something new to learn. I don’t consider myself a master artist, and I believe every artist—no matter their experience—can continue growing and developing their skills. That’s one of the things that makes creating so exciting!
More than anything, I believe God has called me to encourage others through art and to help people discover the joy of creating. Whether you’re just beginning or you’ve been painting for years, my goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can grow in confidence, develop your skills, and enjoy the creative process.

Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to refine your artistic skills, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals and experience level.
For beginners, lessons can include the fundamentals of watercolor and acrylic painting, such as color mixing, understanding the color wheel, brush techniques, composition, and painting simple subjects with confidence. As students grow, we can explore more advanced topics like creating realistic textures, layering, lighting and shadows, depth, and developing a personal painting style.
Every lesson is flexible and personalized. If there’s a specific technique, subject, or skill you’d like to learn or improve, we’ll build lessons around your interests. My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can grow as an artist, build confidence, and enjoy the creative process at your own pace.
