About Aurtur
I am an experienced violin tutor with 16 years of teaching practice, working with around 300 students including high school, college, and adult learners, helping them build both technical skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy is centred on making learning simple, clear, and enjoyable, as I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and supported.
I focus on important areas such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and sound quality, ensuring that students develop strong basics. I break down lessons into small, easy steps so students can learn without confusion. I also include songs and exercises that keep lessons engaging.
One of my key achievements is helping students progress steadily and perform confidently. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to continue learning and improving.

I teach violin with a focus on communication, personalised guidance, and real-life application of skills. I adapt lessons to match each student’s learning style, abilities, and goals, ensuring effective understanding and steady progress.
Lessons cover posture, bowing technique, fingering, intonation, tone, phrasing, and expressive playing while encouraging creativity and interpretation. I include practical examples such as performing songs, learning with accompaniment, and exploring the emotional storytelling in music to make lessons engaging.
Alongside violin, I teach supporting subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to create a motivating and enjoyable environment where students feel confident, skilled, and inspired.
