About Cameron
Outside of teaching, I'm always working on my own productions, there's rarely a moment I'm not making something musical. My favorite genres to work in are EDM and organic sound design, crafting textures from the ground up so they feel alive and breathing rather than overly synthetic. I also work extensively in pop production, where the craft is in chasing that clean, hook driven sound that stays with a listener, and I have a deep appreciation for JPop and KPop, which are home to some of the most ambitious and detailed production being made today.
So if any of that is your world too, we're going to have a lot of fun. And if it's not, that's just as good. I love helping people make whatever kind of music lights them up!

Whatever you want to make, I'd love to help you make it. Maybe you've got melodies stuck in your head and no idea how to get them out, or you've been producing a while and your tracks just aren't sounding finished. That's exactly what we'll work on together.
Hi! I'm Cameron, a working music producer, recording engineer, and sound designer in Los Angeles with 6+ years of experience teaching production. I teach music production, Ableton Live, and FL Studio at Garnish Music Production, and I mentor producers one on one. Alongside teaching, I'm in the studio every week producing and engineering for a wide range of artists, so you'll be learning from someone doing this for a living, not just talking about it.
My background also runs deep on the performance side, with credits including Kinky Boots on Broadway and shows on HBO and Showtime. That means I understand music from both the artist's chair and the engineer's, and I can speak to the creative instinct behind a track as well as the technical craft that brings it to life. Honestly, there's nothing I love more than the moment a rough idea suddenly starts sounding like a real song.
What I can help you with:
Music production from the ground up, in Ableton Live or FL Studio. Beat making, arrangement, sound design and synthesis. Recording and mic technique. Mixing, signal processing, and editing. Plus the workflow habits that actually get songs finished.
How I teach:
Every lesson is built around your music and your goals, not a fixed script or curriculum. We work hands on with real projects so the skills stick, and I break technical concepts into clear, usable steps. Most students leave the first session with a real start on a track, not just a page of notes. Beginners and intermediate producers are equally welcome, and we move at your pace. The first lesson is completely free, so we can talk through what you want to make and make sure it's a good fit before you commit to anything.
